Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to and use of the Model Database API and website (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and are responsible for all activity under your account and API keys. Keep your keys secret; you can rotate or revoke them at any time from your dashboard. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
2. Prepaid credit & billing
The Service is prepaid. You purchase credit, and each API request draws down your balance based on the tokens used at the model's published rate. Prices are shown on our pricing page and are inclusive of our routing margin. We may change prices; the rate in effect at the time of a request applies to that request. Credit is non-transferable. Except where required by law, purchased credit is non-refundable, though it does not expire.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to violate any law, infringe others' rights, generate content that is illegal or abusive, attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service, resell access in a way that circumvents these Terms, or exceed reasonable, non-abusive usage. You must also comply with the terms and usage policies of the upstream model providers whose models you call through us.
4. Service availability
We work to keep the Service reliable but provide it on an “as is” and “as available” basis without an uptime guarantee or SLA unless separately agreed in writing. Upstream providers may change, deprecate, or interrupt models outside our control.
5. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount of credit you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.
6. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that create risk or legal exposure. On termination, your right to use the Service ends.
7. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms; we will revise the “last updated” date and, for material changes, provide notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
